Hello,
I’m writing regarding flight W46019 (Rome to Barcelona) on 09OCT25 confirmation code QK3EVP. The flight was scheduled to depart at 19:05, but we didn’t leave the gate until 22:40—a delay of more than 3 hours.
Despite this, I was charged $192 total ($48 per passenger for 4 tickets) because I couldn’t check in before the 3-hour cut-off. I find this extremely unfair, given that a delay was entirely on Wizz Air’s side.
The crew offered complimentary drinks and snacks, but they ran out and apologized. Boarding and disembarkation were also very slow. My 80-year-old mother-in-law was traveling with us and had to endure the entire ordeal.
I would appreciate a review of this case and a refund of the check-in fees given the circumstances.
